MNDDA is moving forward with establishing our organization as a 501c4 non profit.  What does this mean?  Organizing as a 501c4 will allow MNDDA to operate and fund raise as a non-profit but will also let us retain the ability to advocate and lobby on behalf of the organization and our membership.  This is core to our mission and purpose.  Organizing is expected to take several months in order to get approval on the state and federal levels, however we can begin operating and fundraising as a 501c4 immediately.  Because the 501c4 is a very specialized type of organization, we are retaining the law firm of Trepanier MacGillis Battina to handle our organizing work.
