Today Governor Waltz signed HF 1234 into law.   To say we are disappointed is an understatement, however we should take pride in knowing that in just a few weeks we organized a fierce opposition to the bill, raised awareness, and effected some positive changes to it.  

What is the future of MNDDA?  We continue to have teams actively working on a legal challenge to HF 1234, political action, turning MNDDA into a permanent organization, fundraising, and peer support.  We believe that the passage of HF 1234 is a wakeup call that duty disabled first responders need representation, advocacy, and support and if no one else will do these things, MNDDA should.  To that end, we will need people to fill roles when MNDDA transforms to a permanent organization.  If you are able to help, let us know by sending an email to [email protected].
