Good afternoon MNDDA Members,

The Chair/Leader of the Political Committee had to step down due to an increase in PTSD symptoms that arose from his additional tasks that he took on in spearheading the political committee. He was doing an absolute, fantastic job and we completely understand him needing to refocus his efforts to properly manage his PTSD symptoms. 

 

He has made a lot of progress in a short amount of time and we need to keep this momentum going as this is our only opportunity to affect change on this bill. 

 

The duties include being the point of contact for the political committee, delegating tasks related to meeting with Legislators, communicating with Legislators via phone and email, helping educate MNDDA members on political timelines and planning “calls to action” with our entire Leadership team of 14 people. The political team currently consists of 6-7 people. It is one of our most active committees.
