If you missed last Sunday’s legal update Zoom meeting, go to our Facebook page or visit our website’s public meeting archive to watch the recording of the meeting.  We discussed the results of our law firm search as well as our next steps towards filing that lawsuit.  We also talked about our fundraising and organizing/membership issues.

MNDDA is coming closer to it’s financial goals towards the HF 1234 lawsuit.  If you have already donated, thank you so much.  You should expect an email inviting you to vote on whether to proceed with the lawsuit and if so which law firm to use.  You will be able to do this by completing an online form or by voice vote on a Zoom meeting next Sunday (July 16th).   This meeting will NOT be open to the public.

If you have not contributed towards the legal fund, you will not be able to attend the Zoom meeting or vote.  This is not intended to exclude anyone that is affected by the legislation from participating however we recognize that those who have contributed do have a stake in the process and it is the best way for us to identify those who should have a say in how the funds are used.  Therefore, if you wish to be a part of this legal challenge and wish to see it have the best chance for success please contribute to the fund by clicking the button below and going to our donation page.  Although we are asking for a $1000 donation from those that are able to, we will accept any amount that you are able to contribute.  Alternatively you may make a small contribution and pledge to contribute a larger total amount to the fund at a later date.

Make your contribution or pledge no later than Sunday afternoon so that you can be included in the Zoom meeting and place your vote regarding the lawsuit.
