Use the calculator to see how the proposed re-employment income offsets will affect you. The calculator is a spreadsheet and can be downloaded in Microsoft Xcel format or be accessed as a Google Sheet.

Use the calculator by changing the fields in column B (rows 6-12) to match your situation.  The results will be shown to the left in columns E, F, and G.  (Please note that if you enter 20+ years of service offset 1 will not apply to you (as the bill in the house is currently amended) and therefore willl not be calculated in the results.)

Special Instructions for the Google Sheets version of the Offset Calculator:  You will be sent to a shared version of the calculator spreadsheet which is in “view only” mode you will not be able to enter your information directly.  Do not request edit access, it will not be granted.  You can use the calculator by making a copy of it within Google Drive.  Do this by going to the “File” menu in the upper left of the page, then click on “Make a Copy”.  A pop up will appear asking you to name your copy, do so and click “Make a Copy”, a new window should appear with a fully usable version of the calculator.  You will need a Google Drive account in order to use this version of the calculator.
